Develop your
occupational identity
Careergram aims to to spur new insight and decision-making for youth programs to support youths’ occupational identities. We map out the aspects of youth experiences about careers, identity, and self around which young people develop their occupational identity over their lifetimes.
How it works
We have developed a quick and simple way to collect formative data of different facets of youth identity, through what we classify as Practical Measures. .
First, we ask students to reflect using the practical measures through audio recordings.
Then, we use Large Language Models to analyze their answers and provide suggestions for what to discuss with their mentor(s).
Instead of replacing mentors, this app provides a way for mentors and mentees to be better informed and prepared for in-person meetings, in order to foster stronger mentee-mentor relationships.
